I have talked to WINS, and they look attractive for Superior, WI to 511 or Chicago, but getting to Marquette is pretty costly. Because they had a fiber cut. But they seem to be back up as of about 16:00, they look normal again, and seem to be announcing all their routes into the exchange again. I'm not sure what was going on with their port measurements though, it was probably a measurement glitch. Because, I don't think the exchange was actually sending 500Mb of real traffic at them when their link was down and there doesn't seem an inbound source of the traffic on any other port. So that sounds like a measurement glitch to me. Dave, A CNS fiber that leads to the 511 Building was cut at 9:52AM this morning. (The redundant link isn't expect to be done for another few months.... Arrghh). The CNS switch should be running just fine, but there won't be any CNS connected routes at the exchange. I'm not sure why anything would be bouncing around...?
