Even though FreeBSD latest should be pretty impervious to ssh script kiddie attacks, I personally have seen some issues in the past. There was nothing on the consoles other than ssh knock-knock logs. I've set router/firewall filters for the public IP versions of the two route-refelectors (ie. 216.250.183.9/.10) ssh port such that only the public IPs of the admin ranges that can touch the MICE switches can touch ssh on the external IPs of the route-reflectors. I've commited my firewall list, and tested, and things look good to me. Airstream is upgrading their MICE connection to 10G. Their new port is xe-0/0/20 on the main switch, all IP addressing and route server configuration will remain the same. The old port ge-1/0/10 will be decommissioned following the migration. Big thanks to all who have cleaned these up so far! Once .53 is cleaned up the only other address I still see in my ARP cache is .104. We would like use this space for other purposes now that everyone should be migrated, but don't want to have routing issues for anyone with it still configured. The MAC 0004.9ba4.3000 looks to be 206.108.255.250, which says it is the MICE Looking Glass on the participants list. Then I looked those up in the participants list. I've copied the direct email addresses. Hopefully that will get the relevant networks to remove the old addresses faster.
