Looks like after my initial email to them, a “Raghavendra Mucherla” ( ragmuc(a)amazon.com) replied to our NOC saying it was ready and one of my guys just enabled the session. In my initial email I gave them my MICE IP, my ASN, and the prefix’s I was to announce. Looks like it took about 2 months in total. Hope this helps. Being that Amazon is not on the route servers and they're still moving almost 18 Gbps at peak, there are definitely other members who are peered with them. Does anyone have a contact there I can escalate this to? I've reached out to the two contacts listed in PeeringDB and that was their response. I find this unacceptable to be approved to peer with them a year ago but still be waiting to configure their BGP session, which took me all of 1 minute to complete on my router. Any ideas? Facebook MICE Connection Active

by Jay Hanke

The Facebook MICE connections are active. If your network would like to peer with Facebook over MICE please email requests to peering(a)fb.com. Facebook does NOT connect to the MICE route servers so each network will need to establish their own BGP sessions directly with Facebook. Thanks! -- Jay Hanke, President South Front Networks jayhanke(a)southfront.io Phone 612-204-0000
