Late in the evening we did a community 0:36040 into MICE, it took a while but eventually our traffic switched from msp5 to mci2. I don’t know that it’s solved our problems but things seem better, we’ll see tomorrow when all the kids are home watching YouTube videos of other bored kids sitting at home... Here is the Google mapping page that end users can run to identify which node is serving them video content: http://redirector.googlevideo.com/report_mapping It is usually one of the first things Google asks for when tickets are opened for video content playback issues. ________________________________ From: MICE Discuss <MICE-DISCUSS(a)LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET> on behalf of Jeremy Lumby <jlumby(a)MNVOIP.COM> Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2019 12:46 PM To: MICE-DISCUSS(a)LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET Subject: Re: [MICE-DISCUSS] Youtube/Google You can try the community of: 0:36040 The communities are all listed at http://www.micemn.net/technical.html The problem is there is currently a ticket open with Google where their equipment ignores BGP, and continues to send traffic.
