Thanks Anthony, We should be adding the optic and standing up the session in the next couple of weeks once our new juniper hardware is live. Welcome HCMC folks! I don't see an optic in the switch so I can't add you to the graphs yet, but you should be ready to go in the MICE route servers. Certain routers will require the BGP command "no bgp enforce-first-as", everything else should be just as you'd expect. Akamai (20940) < > MICEMN Network Fail

by Hannigan, Martin

Quick update. There is what appears to be a layer 1 network problem and our vendor is slow to respond. I am going to suspend this system entirely since the traffic is inconsistent. I have made the priority with our break fix team. Bear with us. Best, Martin Hannigan Akamai Technologies, Inc. Yes, this does appear to have had some effect. As well, there appears to have been a networking problem with our cache fill transit provider that caused our servers to limit traffic sporadically as our providers network bounced in and out of a quality range (errs, drops, etc.). I am not positive it is completely fixed. Hello MICE folks, We went live on MICE over the weekend on AS4150, those who aren't on the route servers should have received a peering request from me. We will be turning up peering for AS5683 later this month. To whomever updates the participants list: some digits are transposed on AS5683 on: http://micemn.net/participants.html 5638 2001:504:27:0:0:1633::1 should be 5683 2001:504:27:0:0:1633::1 Thanks, -- Chris Wopat SupraNet Communications, Inc. chrisw(a)supranet.net (608) 836-0282 x302 ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

Cologix Maintenance..

by Doug McIntyre

FYI: Since I remember some MICE members didn't receive Cologix's maintenace notices. Cologix has UPS/power maintenance right now (1/9/14), and MICE route reflector 1 (206.108.255.1) is down due to it. The route reflector #2 is up and still doing BGP. -- Doug McIntyre <merlyn(a)iphouse.net> ~.~ ipHouse ~.~ Network Engineer/Provisioning/Jack of all Trades ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

Re: Enventis Maintenance

by Jake Lubitz

Update: We ran into a snag the other night (12/18) with this maintenance and had to move this event until after the holidays. As of 11:30AM today (1/3) we have our 10Gbps connection up, as well as BGP, to the MICE Juniper router. I apologize for the lack of updates on this. At any rate, the 10Gbps connection to MICE is up and happy at the moment. Please let us know if we missed anything. Thanks in advance. Sure, all four entries are added to each route-server. They are all set to go once they get hooked up.
