Nothing to see here...

by Anthony Anderberg

Someday we'll hit 30Gbps, but not today - the massive spike in MICE traffic in the graphs at 2am this morning is just an artifact of the daylight savings switch. It shouldn't affect the long-term trend graphs, but if it does I'll tweak them a little as needed. Easy alarms are the best kind... OSX Upgrade Release

by Justin Krejci

I am guessing the release of the free OSX upgrade is related to the sudden spike in MICE traffic again. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/os-x-mavericks/id675248567 It might not be a bad idea to monitor your own network pipes for signs of bandwidth contention with the release of a free multi gig upgrade for OSX. ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

Jaguar MICE connection

by Jay Hanke

I'm not able to ping the Jaguar interface across the fabric. Physical Interface on remote switch is showing up, and LLDP is saying the connection goes to Jaguar with almost no traffic. ge-0/0/11 Up 884041 (2) 5596944 (17) Everything ok? -- Jay Hanke CTO, CCIE #19093 Mankato Networks LLC PO Box 54 619 S Front St Mankato, MN 56001-3838 Google 530-618-2398 jayhanke(a)mankatonetworks.net http://www.mankatonetworks.com http://www.neutralpath.net ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

Mankato Networks Remote Switch Replacement

by Jay Hanke

The Mankato Networks Remote switch will be upgraded Thursday morning about 6:00 AM. The switch is moving from an EX2200 to an EX3300 allowing for 4 10G ports. All participants on the Remote Switch will have brief interruptions in service while ports are moved except Windomnet and Wikstrom telephone. These connections were moved during the maintenance this afternoon.
