At SDN our Tier1 traffic all spiked this AM during the update but the highest spike was our Edgecast Connections. Edgecast went up over 200% this AM from 4am to 7am over the normal daily peak. CAUTION: This email originated from outside of SDN Communications. Exercise caution when opening attachments or clicking links, especially from unknown senders. I hate that Fortnite doesn't release anything on their website about the update. Just their twitter mentions it. Makes sense but I also wonder why this isn't being served from MICE? It must not be served on Akamai or any of the other connected CDN's as there was no spike from MICE at all. Lots of traffic from Edgecast and Akamai not coming through the IX but through our HE connection. Is there a new Apple release or something?
