I'll know for sure if I get a copy of this message. If I don't, I'll look into this some more. As I mentioned off-list before: While I agree that my mail server was broken, it would not have been a problem if your listserv software wasn't munging messages. And while the From: munging isn't too bad, the Reply-To: munging is really annoying. See the following for reasons why: http://woozle.org/~neale/papers/reply-to-still-harmful.html > I am going to let LISTSERV do what it thinks is best - which will be > to bounce the user from the list after 10 days of failures. The bug in question resulted in my own messages bouncing when the listserv software tried to send them to me. I've sent 4 messages to mice-discuss in the last* 10 days, not counting this one. By my quick count, there have been about 58 messages (including mine) sent to the list in the same time. If 4 bounces, especially out of 58 messages, is enough for your software to unsubscribe me from the list, it's broken as well. It appears as I can definitely make the meeting, however I will have a 6:29PM flight out, as I NEED to be back in NY the next day. My guess is that I will be able to show up EARLIER than 3PM, and stay until about 4:30 at the VERY latest...I also will come in on the day before if there is any value to that... I'm guessing this is a fairly stock Cacti install. The data appears to be being re-averaged for the yearly graph. For example, there's a peak of 2.86 G on the daily aggregate graph. Here's a zoomed-in link: http://micelg.usinternet.com/cacti/graph.php?action=zoom&local_graph_id=217… But the yearly aggregate shows "Max Traffic: 1.47G". If the point of the aggregate graph is to show how big the exchange is, this is a pretty significant difference. My Cacti-fu is pretty weak. I solved this for Wiktel's Cacti installation by only having one RRD per data source. I save 5 years (chosen as a value higher than I would ever care about) of 5 minute samples. Disk space is pretty cheap and I'm at a small ISP, so this works. I'm not sure what the most correct solution for MICE is. Perhaps it would work to set the consolidation function for the yearly RRD to "MAX". Even if that works, I'm not sure how to do that without losing the historical data, though. The meeting is usually fairly short 45 minutes or so. Make sure to allow time afterwards for the social, that's the good part. IIRC, the social breaks up before 6:30 or 7ish. My wife isn't impressed either, but I can impress my kids with graphs! One thing you could add would be this BGP Monitoring template - it baselines the # of prefixes for each BGP neighbor and then has additional lines for inbound/outbound updates. BGP Monitor - this one worked for me http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=36770&start=30 BGP - "broken" version - I couldn't get this one to work right, but you can see what it does http://crunchtools.com/software/crunchtools/cacti/grpah-bgp-neighbors/ Here's an example of the graphs produced from the BGP sessions on our MICE router: <http://www.elizabethandjames.com/temp/AS53679-bgp-monitor.png>http://www.elizabethandjames.com/temp/AS53679-bgp-monitor.png http://www.elizabethandjames.com/temp/AS6939-bgp-monitor.png -James ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

Both ASes directly peering and subsidiary customer ASes, or ASes transited to MICE, would be cool too.
