Re: MICE 511 Server Maintenance

by Richard Laager

I am hands off. MICE Cacti is not updating, presumably as it needs IPs updated on the device configs. I've emailed the right people The glue for ns1.micemn.net may take up to 48 hours to propagate. DNS should be working fine, though, via ns2.micemn.net. If there are any other issues, give me a shout! I still have the DNS TTLs down. If there are no issues reported, I'll raise those back to normal tomorrow. -- Richard

MICE 511 Server Maintenance

by Richard Laager

In some tens of minutes, I will be switching MICE’s management infrastructure, including the website, to a new transit provider. This involves IP renumbering. If you have issues, drop me an email to my day job email here, or call/text me if you have my mobile number. -- Richard

Looks like both Call of Duty and Fortnite have been planning upgrades but I can't find anything definitive. Can confirm on Fortnite. Update happened in conjunction with a Times Square takeover with Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice + announcement of it. We were there running the network for it all :) https://x.com/LynchReborn/status/1852617995882741887/video/1 Andrew Hoyos hoyosa(a)gmail.com > On Nov 2, 2024, at 12:30, Anthony Anderberg <AnthonyAnderberg(a)NUVERA.NET> wrote: > > Based on traffic patterns it looks like a big game franchise started an upgrade cycle last night at 3am. > Looks like both Call of Duty and Fortnite have been planning upgrades but I can’t find anything definitive. > > I really only play Kerbal Space Program and am not up to date on FPS games, can anyone confirm? > > > > To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: > http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1 >
