Yes, it is 3 pm for the actual business meeting. The website is incorrect. The MICE website front page says the UG meeting is at 1pm today, Jay's email says 3pm. Anyone know definitively what time the meeting is happening at? ________________________________ From: MICE Discuss [MICE-DISCUSS(a)LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET] on behalf of Jason Hanke [jayhanke(a)NEUTRALPATH.NET] Sent: Wednesday, March 23, 2016 10:05 AM To: MICE-DISCUSS(a)LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET Subject: [MICE-DISCUSS] Informational Session Today I will be in the Cologix cafeteria from 2 PM to 3 PM to answer any MICE questions or to assist new members in getting their connections up. Re: Email issues

Thanks, good to know it's not "just us". I've opened a ticket with TR but they said it could be 24 hours before I get a response. I pointed out to the agent that it's their customers who aren't getting email in a timely fashion -- they don't need to answer to me. =) Frank -----Original Message----- From: MICE Discuss [mailto:MICE-DISCUSS@LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET] On Behalf Of Ben Franske Sent: Tuesday, March 22, 2016 1:25 PM To: MICE-DISCUSS(a)LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET Subject: Re: [MICE-DISCUSS] Email issues On 3/22/2016 1:18 PM, Mike Horwath wrote: > [01:17pm] 6 [~]% telnet 167.68.17.17 25 > Trying 167.68.17.17... > ^C > [01:17pm] 7 [~]% telnet 167.68.16.17 25 > Trying 167.68.16.17... > Connected to mailb-ein.westgroup.com. > Escape character is '^]'. > 220 mailb-ein.westgroup.com ESMTP Unauthorized use is prohibited; Tue, 22 Mar 2016 13:17:16 -0500 > quit > 221 2.0.0 mailb-ein.westgroup.com closing connection > Connection closed by foreign host. > > One is working and the other is not. > I'm getting intermittent connection refused messages to port 25 both servers. -Ben Dr. Ben Franske Information Technology Career Programs Inver Hills Community College

Email issues

Anyone else seeing email delayed sending to the Thomson-Reuter data center in Eagan, MN? We see email queued up for several domains that TR hosts, we see 70 to 85% TCP port 25 "packet" loss. The MX records for all those law/accounting sites point to 167.68.16.17 and 167.68.17.17. There is some delivery, but mostly not. Regards, Frank
