Congrats at 100G

by Jeremy Lumby

I just wanted to say congrats to everyone. I believe for the first time MICE broke the 100G mark I show the high traffic level as 104G just about 1/2 hour ago. I am very excited knowing that there are many others in the process of upgrading their connection, and newly connecting that should make this number continue to grow quickly in the very near future. It was only on the MX platform where I could get IPv6 traffic stats out on an interface. So, "universal code", but doesn't do the same thing everywhere. Mike already showed the OID doesn't exist, but I tried it as well, and it just doesn't answer with anything under that OID. -- Doug McIntyre <merlyn(a)iphouse.net> ~.~ ipHouse ~.~ Network Engineer/Provisioning/Jack of all Trades

Perhaps you could walk a few boxes with the OID of 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.30 to see if anything is returned. IPv6 usage

by Frank Bulk

It appears the JunOS is able to break out the amount of IPv6 (https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/junos16.1/topics/reference/comm…) on an interface. Does the EX4200 also support the IP MIB (https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc4293#section-3.2.3)? If so, it would be great to graph the amount and percentage of IPv6 traffic on most, if not all, interfaces. Frank

Re: Participant List Updates

by anthonyanderberg＠nu-telecom.net

I've also done a little auditing and found a couple ports that I'd missed in the aggregate graphs. I was expecting the in/out numbers to match more closely so might still be missing some egress bits in the totals... I also saw the earlier thread on Monticello FiberNet, and can confirm that they are documented correctly. The following are still pending: ipHouse Remote Switch PCH Sandwich.net Velocity Telephone One port move is still pending: Wikstrom Telephone Company (still active on their current port) I have not historically checked for disconnections. I gave the Cacti graphs a quick read-through, and did some ping & route checks. I wouldn't consider it exhaustive, but I don't see any disconnections. -- Richard
