MICE IXP User Types

I had some off-list questions about the user process/types. The MICE IXP Manager account is created from your PeeringDB account. When it is created, you'll come in as a Customer User. When you email, we will upgrade your account to a Customer Admin. Point of clarification, Logging into IXP Manager creates the account, the account then needs to be updated to allow edits to the member account. MICE Filtering Project Update

MICE has deployed an instance of IXP manager to act as a source for automatically generating the route server configurations and peers as well as an additional route server to test the configurations. This will include an AS-SET record of all the networks connected to the MICE route servers. The new portal is available at https://ixpmgr.micemn.net/ The new bird2 route server (RS3) has been attached to the South Front Networks remote switch in Albert Lea. There are a small number of test networks attached and exchanging routes. The new route server is strict filtering IRR and dropping invalid RPKI announcements. RS3 is available for testing IRR and RPKI but is not considered production at this time. OAuth authentication has been enabled on the MICE IXP Manager to allow users to log in with their PeeringDB login credentials. Upon a successful login to the MICE IXP Manager, please email peering(a)micemn.net so we can update your account to be a customer administrator. We ask that each network log in and update their information. In particular- -IPv4/IPv6 AS-SET and routing registry source -Max Prefix -Billing information -Anything else that is incorrect, much of the information was pulled from PeeringDB. If your network doesn't have an updated PeeringDB record, please create one at https://peeringdb.com If your network would like to test their announcements on RS3, Please email peering(a)micemn.net for session information.
