Some but not all of the cacti graphs show a spike for that one polling cycle and then a dip in the next - then the Aggregate graph stacks all those bumps/dips together. I don’t see any errors or issues, so I’m going to say that the poller got paused or slowed mid-cycle somehow and a number of high-traffic interfaces got their bits shifted into the previous cycle - thus unevenly graphed. Fortunately RRD will smoosh the blip together and it will be forever hidden from posterity. :-) Cheers, Anthony From: MICE Discuss <MICE-DISCUSS@LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET> on behalf of David Farmer <0000000e7948cb21-dmarc-request@LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET> Reply-To: MICE Discuss <MICE-DISCUSS@LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET> Date: Monday, December 4, 2023 at 9:14 AM To: MICE Discuss <MICE-DISCUSS@LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET> Subject: Re: [MICE-DISCUSS] MICE almost hit 2T The sharp spike it 1.96T could be a measurement artifact. We graph on our side as well and our graphs don’t show it. (We are on 5 minute intervals with graphing, so we might have missed it I guess) Anyone else see that spike on their graphs?
