Some but not all of the cacti graphs show a spike for that one polling cycle and then a dip in the next - then the Aggregate graph stacks all those bumps/dips together.

I don’t see any errors or issues, so I’m going to say that the poller got paused or slowed mid-cycle somehow and a number of high-traffic interfaces got their bits shifted into the previous cycle - thus unevenly graphed.

Fortunately RRD will smoosh the blip together and it will be forever hidden from posterity.  :-)

Cheers,

Anthony

The sharp spike it 1.96T could be a measurement artifact.

This is what IXP Manager was showing for last night's traffic. Still very close to 2T! TorIX and MICE are neck and neck racing to 2T.

I don’t think I agree with that spike.  We graph on our side as well and our graphs don’t show it.  (We are on 5 minute intervals with graphing, so we might have missed it I guess)

Anyone else see that spike on their graphs?

Dean

We had a 1.96T burst last night.

The extra Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1 release traffic over the weekend can be seen.
