Thanks, Doug. All helpful. Neighbor ::1 and ::2 are shut-down for now to stop babbling errors. The BGP connection was via native IPv6, but was being closed by ::1 and ::2:
Nov 13 15:10:56 CST: %BGP-5-ADJCHANGE: neighbor 2607:FE10:FFFF::1 Up Nov 13 15:10:57 CST: %BGP-3-NOTIFICATION: received from neighbor 2607:FE10:FFFF::1 6/1 (cease) 0 bytes Nov 13 15:10:57 CST: %BGP-5-ADJCHANGE: neighbor 2607:FE10:FFFF::1 Down BGP Notification received
I have an "address-family ipv4... no neighbor ... activate": there should be no IPv4 prefixes advertised on those sessions. -Bradley ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

Case notification subcode 1 is Maximum Number of Prefixes Reached. Check your route-map to make sure you are filtering on the proper criteria, and doing so in the proper address-family. -- Doug McIntyre <merlyn@iphouse.net> -- ipHouse/Goldengate/Bitstream/ProNS -- Network Engineer/Provisioning/Jack of all Trades ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1
