I'd like to throw out MKE or Madison as a venue for the summer meeting. I also reached out to KCIX and they are interested in coming up. I sent an email to MBIX but haven't heard back yet. There is a fair amount of interest from the OpenIX folks. There is a fair amount of OpenIX activity across the border in IL. Wisconsin folks, can we get a sponsor (location/food)? Needs to be close to an airport -- Jay Hanke CTO, CCIE #19093 Mankato Networks LLC PO Box 54 619 S Front St Mankato, MN 56001-3838 Google 530-618-2398 jayhanke@mankatonetworks.net http://www.mankatonetworks.com http://www.neutralpath.net ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1
MKE is easier to and probably cheaper. Best, -M< On Apr 11, 2014, at 11:59 AM, Jay Hanke <jayhanke@MANKATONETWORKS.NET> wrote:

I'd agree, MKE probably easier for most folks, airport wise. We'd probably have better luck attracting folks to attend from ORD as well that way. I'll do some checking on a possible venue - I've got a few ideas. Assuming like ~50-ish max head count wise? Hoyos Consulting would happily co-sponsor something... I can poke a few folks in the area as well. Thanks, Andrew On Apr 11, 2014, at 2:01 PM, Hannigan, Martin wrote:

Yes, ORD. It appears to be a burgeoning new IXP hotspot. On Apr 11, 2014, at 6:42 PM, Andrew Hoyos <hoyosa@GMAIL.COM> wrote:

Any approximate headcount anticipated? We're in Madison. Let me talk to some people internally to see if SupraNet can help sponsor something here. -- Chris Wopat SupraNet Communications, Inc. chrisw@supranet.net (608) 836-0282 x302 ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

OTOH, If Madison is generally OK with folks, the WI Memorial Union could be one of the coolest places ever to have a meeting, and enjoy the space afterwards. I'd support that too (and help w/ space/food/drink), if Madison works.... -- Andrew Hoyos hoyosa@gmail.com ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1
