Who will be supplying the bandwidth for them to fill their appliance(s)?
I'm not sure. They asked who was in the building that could provide bandwidth. The content is pre-cached off-hours so it should be pretty efficient. As I understand they can provide fill from another appliance as well. As long as it's not peak hours I think Arvig could definitely contribute some bandwidth. We just need to get a better idea of what the needs are. I was told it’s 4Gbps for 4 hours per night. I've heard similar tales. The slick thing is that it's time shifted. Netflix will be lining up their own bandwidth. They'll be joining MICE as a regular user. ie no special arrangements Jay ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1
So they will be priming the cache using their peering link? A good picture of the priming can be found here: http://cricket.cenic.org/grapher.cgi?target=%2Futilization%2Fcenic-backbone%...
