Yes, the hardware does seem to be borked. If anybody is around 511 this weekend near the MICE cabinet, we probably just need the 1st server power cycled and brought back online when somebody can get to it. -- Doug McIntyre <merlyn@iphouse.net> -- ipHouse/Goldengate/Bitstream/ProNS -- Network Engineer/Provisioning/Jack of all Trades ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

Sounds like it's time to get a managed PDU in place. Free doesn't always include the crutches. Not sure those 1950s were quite 7 or 8 years old, but I would be happy to donate some newer boxes to the MICE cause if needed. -- Nevin Lyne -- Founder / Director of Technology -- Gippy's Internet Solutions, LLC. / EngineHosting.com ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

I have quite a few HP dl360s g5s with lights out remote management remote management licensed. I could provide a pair along with hot spare drives, mirrored memory, and redundant ps. Otherwise I think we could probably just provide a pair of new servers if someone can recommend minimum specs and it can wait for another month or two. I'm assuming 1u, maybe a single quad core low power processor, 12GB mem, mirrored 100GB drives, dial ps, and ilo would work? On Mar 9, 2013 9:17 PM, "Nevin Lyne" <nevin@enginehosting.com> wrote:

The requirements are minimalist. Current running system uses 52MB and is 99.99% idle. It could just need a DIMM reseat or something. Or apparently a DRAC card implant or switched PDU. -- Doug McIntyre <merlyn@iphouse.net> -- ipHouse/Goldengate/Bitstream/ProNS -- Network Engineer/Provisioning/Jack of all Trades ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

For some reason I thought they already had DRAC cards, but if not I have a drawer full of them for those model systems. -- Nevin Lyne -- Founder / Director of Technology -- Gippy's Internet Solutions, LLC. / EngineHosting.com ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1
