Hello, I was just asked by a potential MICE member who they should contact about getting connected. I told them that I could help them, but I don't know who the correct person is... Is there a particular person or group (one of our committees?) that should handle that? Should we make up an e-mail alias that we can put on the website for people to contact? What does everybody think? If it doesn't already, I suggest having peering@micemn.net go to the right person(s). Richard ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

I think it goes to my old, infrequently checked laptop in the basement. :( Hopefully when I check it tonight it will be full of carriers ready to connect. There are a couple of us that have been taking care of the requests. I've been giving the IP and port assignments and then telling James to build the route server config if necessary. Doug over at ipHouse has been troubleshooting ports on the main switch as necessary. We should get the committees and something more formal set up. I don't mind doing the legwork in the meantime. -- Jay Hanke CTO, CCIE #19093 Mankato Networks LLC 320 East Liberty Street Mankato, MN 56001-3838 Google 530-618-2398 jayhanke@mankatonetworks.net http://www.mankatonetworks.com ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

Sounds great. Doug has been up and going, and if James isn't around, I can do up the BIRD configuration for the BGP config. -- Mike Horwath ipHouse - Welcome home! drechsau@iphouse.net The universe is an island, surrounded by whatever it is that surrounds universes. - Berkeley Fortune ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1
