I was curious if there are MICE members that are currently connected to the main Juniper switch with a 10G optical connection that want to be considered for testing, and be the first to be moved to the new Arista switch. This is still a little way out, however I just wanted to see who was interested. I’m willing to put Akamai in the early-adopter set after the first round of testing if that is helpful. Owen

Funny, I am just ordering my 100-gig optics for USI to move to the new MICE Arista switch at 100-gig. So you can put US Internet on that list too. Thanks! ________________________________________ From: MICE Discuss [MICE-DISCUSS@LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET] on behalf of DeLong, Owen [00000005a669d12e-dmarc-request@LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET] Sent: Wednesday, March 08, 2017 4:12 PM To: MICE-DISCUSS@LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET Subject: Re: [MICE-DISCUSS] New Switch Testing I’m willing to put Akamai in the early-adopter set after the first round of testing if that is helpful. Did Cologix install a fiber panel in the new MICE rack or are we going to continue to use "loosies"? On Wed, Mar 8, 2017 at 4:23 PM, Justin Krejci <JKrejci@usinternet.com> wrote:

When I spoke with them last week, they are planning on a panel, however I am not sure if it has completed yet. I will let you know tomorrow. It is my understanding that connections from within R90 will remain "loosies", and all other fiber connections will utilize the panel. -----Original Message----- From: MICE Discuss [mailto:MICE-DISCUSS@LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET] On Behalf Of Jason Hanke Sent: Wednesday, March 08, 2017 4:25 PM To: MICE-DISCUSS@LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET Subject: Re: [MICE-DISCUSS] New Switch Testing Did Cologix install a fiber panel in the new MICE rack or are we going to continue to use "loosies"? Airstream would be happy to be an early test subject for this. US Internet is getting moved over to the new Arista so there will be some gaps in the cacti traffic graphing data as we currently do not have a path to the MICE IX subnet to get at the switch counters while this move is happening. Thanks to Jeremy (and anyone else involved) for getting us moved to the new Arista. ________________________________________ From: MICE Discuss [MICE-DISCUSS@LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET] on behalf of Charles Monson [monson@WINS.NET] Sent: Thursday, March 09, 2017 2:06 PM To: MICE-DISCUSS@LISTS.IPHOUSE.NET Subject: Re: [MICE-DISCUSS] New Switch Testing Airstream would be happy to be an early test subject for this.
