I lost my BGP session to the #1 server 9 minutes ago and currently no ping/arp/nd for ipv4 and ipv6. Everything else looks fine. Anyone seeing this or know if something is going on with the server? ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1

Yeah, it seems to be MIA. Looks like a physical issue. :-( We'll have to see if we can get some remote hands and eyes for some power issue. -- Doug McIntyre <merlyn@iphouse.net> -- ipHouse/Goldengate/Bitstream/ProNS -- Network Engineer/Provisioning/Jack of all Trades ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1
I lost my connection as well. I happen to be at 511 right now. Physically it looks fine. Let me know if anyone wants me to do something with it (plug in keyboard/monitor/ect). Sure, if you would check out power, network connectivity, etc. What is on the screen. The 2nd route server is up just fine. I'm not aware of any maintenance done on them by Mike (or myself) that would loose connectivity. On Wed, Jan 16, 2013 at 02:56:00PM -0600, Jeremy Lumby wrote:

The switch port is up so I'd guess it has power but there are no bits coming in so I'd assume the OS isn't up. Wow, a FreeBSD kernel panic. Yes, the machine is dead, and needs a power cycle. It isn't often that I see a freebsd system panic like that. Thanks much. My BGP link cleared its' alert, and things look good on the machine. Neither the logs nor the screen shot gives much information about why the machine panicd. We'll go with the random cosmic ray flipping cirtical bits. :-) -- Doug McIntyre <merlyn@iphouse.net> -- ipHouse/Goldengate/Bitstream/ProNS -- Network Engineer/Provisioning/Jack of all Trades ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1
