Working them already! Won't be up until next week as this is a short week. No raid controllers, so redoing things with FreeBSD 8 and ZFS native boot. -- Mike Horwath ipHouse - Welcome home! drechsau@iphouse.net The universe is an island, surrounded by whatever it is that surrounds universes. - Berkeley Fortune ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1
Do we have anyone dedicated to the long term maintenance of the Route Servers? I will volunteer, however I would be much more comfortable w/ a Linux distro, such as CentOS. Something I know intimately, and can ensure the system get's locked down as it will be internet exposed. On Tue, Nov 23, 2010 at 9:34 AM, Jay Hanke <jayhanke@mankatonetworks.net>wrote:

Already have another volunteer who is also FreeBSD loving. Are you poking my buttons and making fun of me? If so, you got me! Unix-like distribution shouldn't matter for dealing with bird configuration. Any other Unix-like activity should be restricted on these servers, they have a tast, they aren't a playground for other things. If there is a need for another type of system...then we can discuss. Mr. Montz... :) -- Mike Horwath ipHouse - Welcome home! drechsau@iphouse.net The universe is an island, surrounded by whatever it is that surrounds universes. - Berkeley Fortune ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1
