Here’s a dumb question: Can MICE’s Akamai cache be backfilled out of UofM’s Akamai cluster?

And if it’s possible, is there any synergy in combining the storage of both clusters to spread the content and backfilling across both clusters?  IIRC, MICE has good connectivity to UofM and doing so could reduced UofM’s backfilling costs and expand the content available.

The last I saw from Mr. Farmer was that they were talking to Akamai about the UofM providing the needed bandwidth.  Should we be waiting for the results of that before seeing about other members chipping in?

Yes, we need more donated bandwidth for cache fill.
