Someone should come up with a way to preemptively give all potential peers at a given IX a heads-up as to maintenance events like that, so that all of the other participants didn’t have to individually troubleshoot the failure condition, work out amongst themselves what was going on, and possibly multiple of them reach out to inquire.
I think something like that would really be popular.

We have been seeing lots of the same over the past week or two. Bounces every minute for hours until we shut down our sessions. It took a few emails to Amazon to get a response – but I did receive the following back from them just the other day –
