20P plugs are one horizontal and one vertical. If they have two vertical prongs, then they are NEMA 5-15P plugs which are much more likely on servers that are not drawing very high amperages.
The servers are all 5-15P. The outlet above the rack is a 20A twist lock so we'll need an adapter.

Folks,
We'd prefer that none of our equipment be modified without consultation of our deployment engineer responsible for this deployment. I'm sure that we'll be able to accommodate whatever environment that we need to and rapidly.
Best,

I don't think anyone said anything about modifying your equipment, Marty. Ideally, the PDUs that provide the NEMA 5-20R or 5-15R receptacles in the rack should have the NEMA L5-20P on their input cord. Then, all that remains is to make sure that the total load being connected to each PDU does not exceed 18A max or 15A continuous. (You should always run a circuit with 25% continuous headroom and 10% max draw headroom in order to allow for line losses, etc.).
