Mike, Good point. However, I didn't want to point that out because it might not apply to everyone. (For example, somebody who rents space in Jay's rack). Also, the exchange itself is free! :-) Thanks, Steve On 03/24/2011 04:01 PM, Mike Hemphill wrote:
Steve, they do pay a monthly cross connect fee to FWR, don't know if that needs to be spelled out in this document or not. Mike

Looks good. With UMN/Northern Lights GigaPOP coming on board, maybe add Higher Education to the list of current members? Also, I believe we have member networks serving Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Am I missing any? Is reduced delay and latency redundant? Maybe add Increase Connection Diversity? Nobody has sent any content suggestions...
We went with a single sheet. I don't think that we had enough content for a tri-fold brochure. Please look this over and reply back with suggestions and improvements.
This needs to be wrapped up today (Thursday) by about 4PM!

Jay and I have been discussing creating a MICE brochure that he can hand out at MTA.
I can ask a graphic design person here to put one together, but what information should be included? Logo, Name, website, contact info, etc. What can we put on it so that people who have no idea what peering is pass the brochure on to their network staff? I suspect that the word "free" might help get some attention?
I figure this would be too small of a print run to justify the cost of regular printing, so we could just do a color laser print and run it through a folding machine if that makes sense?
Please help with suggestions and ideas!
Thanks, Steve
