The Northern Lights GigaPOP connection via the CNS switch is to a 7609S, a 10G switch port, setup with an access VLAN, then an SVI for L3 routing. We did this as there are some of our R&E network partners may want to peer directly with other MICE participants in the future. On 12/1/11 14:21 CST, Jay Hanke wrote:
Could everyone share what type of device is connected directly to the MICE switches?
-Layer 2 (ethernet switch) -Layer 2/3 (Ethernet Switch with L3 address on VLAN) -Layer 3 (router)
