Wouldn't it make more sense to move Akamai to the CNS switch? i.e. Move one instead of two? The GigaPOP and HE both purchased their optics, so that could also become a factor in any changes.
It seems to me like it'd make more sense to have the big networks at the main switch, since then the connection to CNS only needs to support the bandwidth needs of CNS and others on that switch. Thus, for now, the single 10Gig between the CNS switch and main switch should be fine.
I agree. Move them to the main switch as it gets it closer to more participants. Optics may just move and be compatible. Agree on the LAG/LACP config for Akamai as well *on the main switch*. -- Mike Horwath, reachable via drechsau@Geeks.ORG ######################################################################## To unsubscribe from the MICE-DISCUSS list, click the following link: http://lists.iphouse.net/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=MICE-DISCUSS&A=1
