Board meetings are just not always formal...having to have minutes of them would be difficult. We had a 3 hour long conference call about things a week ago...if we had to keep minutes on that, it would have been a nightmare. Since we did not have much open discussion time at the end of today's meeting, I wanted to propose a change for the procedure that the board follows. I propose that the board start taking, and publishing minutes from board meetings. This would allow the membership to see how the board members were voting/representing their interests. It would also be invaluable information for the voting members to have in the event that we ever had a contested election again.
