David, Thanks for sharing. Pretty disappointing to learn that this has been a known issue for several weeks and that that the BOP still hasn’t resolved it. Since this behavior was seen across multiple iSPs (some who probably don’t peer with Amazon at MICE), do you think it’s “lucky” that ISU regained connectivity when you stopped advertising ISU’s prefixes to Amazon at MICE? They looked into it and it was an issue with the Bureau of Prisons site, and not the Minneapolis CloudFront node. ISU tried contacting Bureau of Prisons about this issue, but never really got a response. As a work around we stop announcing some Iowa Government prefixes to Amazon at MICE.
