I officially cleaned out the old 1/3 MICE cabinet today, and got some pictures of the new cabinet. I left them full resolution so that you can use them for other things. MinnState using it own ASN now
by David Farmer May 7, 2017

May 7, 2017

This is just a heads-up to let you know that MinnState(fKA MnSCU), as of around 07:00 this morning, is now using its own ASN, AS675, for originating 199.17.0.0/16, 134.29.0.0/16, and 204.77.32.0/19. Also at the same time, MinnState now has it's own pair of 2x10G connections to Northern Lights GigaPoP at the 511 Building and Centennial Office Building (State Capitol Campus), that are separated from the State of Minnesota's (MN.IT <http://mn.it/>) connections to the GigaPoP at the same locations. I can't imagine this should have caused any issues for anyone, but some of you may have noticed the change, and I thought I would send out an explanation. As I get ready for round 2 of moving MICE members to the new switch/rack. I am in need of (2) 120V 20A PDUs with twist lock connectors on the input cable. Does anyone have a couple sitting around that they are willing to donate? New Switch Testing
by Jeremy Lumby March 23, 2017

March 23, 2017

I was curious if there are MICE members that are currently connected to the main Juniper switch with a 10G optical connection that want to be considered for testing, and be the first to be moved to the new Arista switch. This is still a little way out, however I just wanted to see who was interested. by Frank Bulk March 16, 2017

March 16, 2017

That valley around 3:10 pm may be related to the issues our monitoring system saw with ipv6.google.com this afternoon .... I also see that Amazon drained down to zero this afternoon, too. [cid:image001.png@01D29DE1.1B2EF3B0] [cid:image002.png@01D29DE1.1B2EF3B0]
