All, As we approach UG 9, Reid Fischler's term is coming to an end. The SC has been discussing his term and feel that MICE needs someone with a larger reach (read Global, not just local or regional) to fill that position, especially with the push for growth on the exchange that we currently have. With that need comes a limited number of candidates who can fit that role on MICE. We have discussed several options and, at this time, the SC would like to recommend that we extend Reid's term for a period of time while we discuss a long-term plan. GigaPop Port move

The Gigapop interconnect will be moving from the CNS to the Main Switch port xe-0/0/11. The Gigapop has requested the port be set up as a single channel port channel in preparation for adding an additional 10 G link later this year. The problem is X2 versus SFP+ optics. I would be happy to donate, the problem is I only have X2 optics, and no SFP+ laying around. Optics may just move and be compatible. There appears to be some intermittent congestion issues on MICE right now between the Main switch and the CNS remote switch.
