All, As we approach UG 9, Reid Fischler's term is coming to an end. The SC has been discussing his term and feel that MICE needs someone with a larger reach (read Global, not just local or regional) to fill that position, especially with the push for growth on the exchange that we currently have. With that need comes a limited number of candidates who can fit that role on MICE. We have discussed several options and, at this time, the SC would like to recommend that we extend Reid's term for a period of time while we discuss a long-term plan. OSX Upgrade Release

Jaguar MICE connection

I'm not able to ping the Jaguar interface across the fabric. Mankato Networks Remote Switch Replacement

The Mankato Networks Remote switch will be upgraded Thursday morning about 6:00 AM. The switch is moving from an EX2200 to an EX3300 allowing for 4 10G ports. All participants on the Remote Switch will have brief interruptions in service while ports are moved except Windomnet and Wikstrom telephone. These connections were moved during the maintenance this afternoon. Mankato Networks MICE Emergency Maint this afternoon

We are installing a new switch to replace the existing Mankato Networks Remote switch and increasing the uplink to 10G due to rapid traffic growth. Several members will see a brief outage when their uplinks are moved. If you have NOT been notified and would like to move this afternoon please email me.
